Do you use Legato true Sordino?

I was able to get the SCS muted legatos to work for the muted section in my current piece. I doubled the voicing to thicken the sound to match the bigger section sound better.

But after looking at some of the above suggestions, having a dedicated detailed CS library would’ve a nice addition! Time to listen closer to the demos. OT and VSL duality sordino look pretty incredible.

I’ve always been enamored with muted orchestrations, especially in the right room, but have never been too inspired by the vi sounds I have so far encountered.

Love this:

It’s only two articulations, legato and tend to, but I just loved the sound of Afflatus Strings Chapter 1 Scene d’Amour sordinos. But it’s a chamber sized sound, so the HS script is what I use when I need a bigger sound or more articulations.

Kirk Hunter’s new Concert Strings Adaptive has a sordino script that I don’t like, but I fashioned a Logic channel strip that creates a similar effect that he liked.
