Two trombones from a solo trombone

Hi everyone. I have a solo trombone Kontakt library, and I would like to save it as a two trombone patch. To do this, I would like to use a transposition trick, but instead of doing the tuning in Kontakt and on my DAW, I’d like to do the tuning up and down entirely within Kontakt that way I can use the instrument without messing with my DAW. Is this possible?

Well, in Kontakt you have tune knob next to volume. This is the easiest way. If you want 5ths or 7ths then you need to transpose it through the wrench button.

As far as i know this isn't possible because both instruments are getting same midi notes so you have to remap the whole key range and depending on the instrument developer those might be locked you could do it as a multi and send transposed midi to the transposed instrument but they wouldn't be one patch

Open two instances of the trombone patch in Kontakt. Set both to the same midi channel. Tune one down by two semitones. The patch you tuned down also use midi transpose in Kontakt to move it up two semitones.
