So I use the pencil tool and my mouse to draw in notes when I compose. Because I don't have a midi keyboard or controller, I also use the mouse for my expression. Is there a point where CC automation isn't needed for a passage? I've seen people draw in the curves to simulate the onset of a bow attack. I've been struggling with this for a long time, as whenever I try to draw in a curve it messes with the way the start of the note sounds - regardless of if the curve starts before or after the note. On long, held notes I can seem to get a reasonable response. Does every note need to get a curve like this for maximum realism?
Should the dynamic CC automation of the included passage just be flat? I'm using Cinematic Studio Strings.
