I just got a new WD Black 4tb Nvme SSD drive which is replacing a 2tb mechanical drive. The mechanical drive contains all my many loops and samples, as well as some Kontakt sample libraries. I do have a lot of stuff cataloged within Cubase's media bay using track presets and the like, and I would like to preserve that after moving all the contents to the new faster drive. What is the more sensible way to do this: just transfer everything over manually and then change the drive letter of the new drive to the old one, or would it be better to clone the drive?
