What's new

New MuseHub Released - Demos & New Sounds: Spitfire, Berlin, CineSeries, etc.

I bought Berlin First Chair, Soloists and Brass..all was good. Today I bought and installed Berlin Strings. Now none of my files will play, including files that don't use any of the new sounds. I reinstalled..same issue. I will try rebooting. Anyone else with this issue?

Update..a reboot fixed the problem.

The more I use the Berlin samples..the more im massively impressed with them!..I think they just sound amazing!.

I've done a demo of Mendelssohn's E minor 1st movement and the link is below

Everything is Berlin, except the percussion...I haven't bought the Berlin ones yet...but I will!

Oh my god... I want that!, but the new MuseHub just doesn't work for me 😭 it won't open.

If anyone has both Cinepiano VST as well as Cinepiano Muse sounds version — is there a considerable difference between the two? Or can the same results be achieved using the VST version?

No, it's not working, I got this message two times, one after the installation and then after the restart. I clicked Ok both times and nothing happens, I click on the app and nothing. It's in the task manager, in services too but it won't open.

I caved and got CineBrass and CinePerc expansions. The snare actually does have some options like snare off and onin Staff Text

it sounds very cool, when will the offer end? I still can't open the new MuseHuB... I hope to get it before the end of the offer. My money wants to get out of my hands.

End of this month I believe.

EDIT: That said, you should contact them now and explain that you're trying everything you can to buy the instruments at the discounted price. This way lets say that your issue doesn't get fixed in time, you have some evidence later which might make them agreeable to making an exception for you, and honouring the discount even if you go past the discount window.

The very boomy percussion in CinePerc (timpani etc) can seem really great when it is by itself, but the moment it plays underneath other stuff, it can throw up a lot of mud and otherwise mess up the mix. When I moved from True Strike to VSL percussion, I was at first disappointed by how much boominess and body the VSL percussion was missing, but then in context I really noticed how much better my mixes immediately got because the low drums weren't sending up as many high overtones as in True Strike, so the end result sounded so much better with VSL. And, comparing with good Williams recordings/mixes, the percussion sounded just like the VSL and not like True Strike/CinePerc. I only got CinePerc as a part of Musio 1 which was an impulse sale buy, but from my experiments it is even boomier than True Strike. So, careful to not make your mixes worse by choosing percussion based on how it sounds in isolation. Things can sound incredible in isolation but be bad in context, without a ton of corrective EQ.
