Logic : Load Preset to NEW Track?

Hi,

Is there any way when browsing track presets/presets in the Logic library to load them to a NEW track vs. always overwriting the currently selected?

Thanks.

Just, create a new track after that browse the presets.
Thanks - this is precisely what I am trying to avoid. I just find it annoying that select a preset and instantiate a track for it with a single action. I wish this behaviour was configurable.

Only option I’m aware of is this:

When you go to create a new track, you can choose what AU to populate the track with, if anything. I have it set up to create an empty track by default, but you can certainly pick the instrument. What you can’t do, though, is select which Kontakt library you’d like loaded, etc. You may be able to select a presaved channel strip though, hadn’t thought about or tried that…

You have to send a feature request to Apple to implement the behavior you mention above, or something better like the Cubase Macros which allow you to pack multiple tasks and trigger them via a single key command for example.
