How to speed up video export for DP11 under Windows

DP11 is known for its movie composing features. But on Windows when it comes to export, DP11 renderer for MP4 just slows to a snails pace, even with a fast SSD PCIe drive.

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else using DP experienced anything similar? How have you managed to overcome this short falling?

Have recently installed a faster drive, which helps somewhat. But still it's not ideal.

So as a work around have started to just compose with DP11 ...

And as it can export broadcast wave files, we get timestamps ...

Leaving me to fallback on the good ole method of overdubbing the sound later elsewhere.

Get's a faster result albeit slightly convoluted ...

Any other experiences?

Update: I've now installed more memory and disk with a much lower latency. As well as have turned off most if not all non-essential services. Yielding a much better throughput to disk. Would still be interested to hear of any other measures you may have used to increase your bandwidth.

The bottleneck is most likely the CPU or the video encoding software itself which might not be multicore or GPU accelerated.

I doubt there's any video encoder on the market that can go faster than an SSD (unless you have a 128 core CPU).
