| A reliable windows RAM meter |

Task manager in XP seems to be woefully unreliable at reporting how much RAM (and probably CPU for all I know) is being used. Often Sonar will be at, say 1gb, then suddenly when loading a new instrument it will drop to 300mb. This, clearly, is wrong - I seem to remember being told that Task Manager is rubbish a while ago.
Does anyone have any good tips of simple, reliable performance meters that do the job without any fuss? |

Thanks - just tried that but I can't see RAM for individual programs / processes? I only get an overall RAM use figure... |

Select Columns | Process Memory. I have "Virtual Size", "Working Set" and "Peak Working Set" visible. I'm guessing "Working Set" and "Peak Working Set" are the ones of interest to you. |
