The colours in S1 are broken and they refuse to accept it (Sorry in advance for the rant)

I think the color is correct. The problem is that he copied MIDI from two tracks but that all of it was pasted only in the blue track - I assume that's not the behavior that @SimonCharlesHanna expected.
Based on Lukas' explanation, this seems to be intentional - if you want to copy and paste MIDI in multiple tracks so that each note gets pasted in the track it came from, then you need to do it via holding down the ALT key.

You live and learn. I did not know that. Thanks for clarifying it further. That'll make things easier.

I do love a lot of things about Studio One, but there really should be an option to not have note velocity affect note colour or shading.

When I want to think about note velocity, there are options that can be toggled on or a whole lane to look at. When I don’t want to think about velocity, I should have that option. It’s just distracting the way it is now.

This is one of my few remaining gripes about S1, frankly.
